Operations Manager
We have an outstanding Contract position for a General Laborer to join a leading Company located in the Grand Prairie, TX surrounding area.
Responsibilities- Ass ist the Facilities Coordinator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of SEDA facilities : plans , organizes , and directs the functions of building maintenance, utility systems, site security, space management, archives, and construction in accordance with local, state, and national building codes and SEDA procedures.
- Assist the Facilities Coordinator in ensuring compliance with related OSHA and FAA regulations.
- Assist the Facilities Coordinator with project transfer.
- Adapt the Grand Prairie facility to meet future business needs.
- Assist the Facilities Coordinator in collecting data and information related to ongoing operations, using that information to organize resources, both internal and external, to support operations , including repair and maintenance of the building and equipment, modification of the building, and/or construction of new or additional spaces.
- Assist the Facilities Coordinator in formulating plans, procedures, and work instructions for the operation and maintenance of the building, equipment, and systems in compliance with state and local regulations, extending the useful life of these systems and assuring the continuity of operations.
- Assist the Facilities Coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations in coordination with the HR Director, who is responsible for the training record-keeping.
- Ensures that all safety is implemented per OSHA standards, writing procedures, and serves as the interface with OSHA bodies.
- Ensures compliance with company and corporate policies.
- Assist the Facilities Coordinator in ensuring compliance with FAA building safety regulations.
- Responsible for all safety aspects except IT safety (Access Software, Fingerprints).
- Assist the Facilities Coordinator in developing procedures, identifying problems, and recommending solutions.
- Helps to prepare and manage the maintenance budget as well as the specific building projects budget and expenditures.
- Divulging of confidential and/or sensitive information could lead to breach of compliance, damage to the reputation and/or competitive posture of SEDA.

- Minimum 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced Level - Microsoft Office:
Outlook, Word, Excel, plus knowledge and experience with PowerPoint, MS Project, and Windows 2016.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations for building safety.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials.
- Electrical skills.
- Construction-related skills.
- Ability to handle IT and paper information.
- Writing (procedures, emails to customers or suppliers).
