Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

Support, lead, and elevate daily operations across K-12 food service sites. As Assistant General Manager, you'll play a key role in team development, cost control, food safety, and service excellence - helping deliver a consistent, high-quality experience that meets district goals and exceeds expectations. You will report to the General Manager.
You Will:- Oversee daily operations to ensure consistent execution of food quality, portioning, presentation, and service standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Support team leadership and development, including hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management to drive engagement, retention, and productivity.
- Drive financial performance by managing labor (MPLH), controlling food and supply costs, and ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to financial policies.
- Ensure compliance and operational excellence by following all company, district, and regulatory requirements related to food safety, sanitation, labor, and workplace standards.
- Partner with the General Manager and district stakeholders to meet client expectations, support site operations as needed, and deliver an outstanding customer experience for students, staff, and families.
- 3+ years of food service or hospitality experience, including fresh food production
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food service management, culinary arts, nutrition, business, or related field preferred
- Experience with scheduling, labor management (MPLH), inventory, and cost control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and POS or reporting systems
- Must be able to meet all pre-employment requirements, including background check, fingerprinting, and (if applicable) a clean driving record
