Service Dispatch Team Lead

Polk Mechanical is seeking a Service Dispatcher Team Lead to dispatch Service Technicians to install, service, and repair HVAC/R and plumbing systems, coordinating closely with service management to keep technicians scheduled and customers informed.

• Communicate with customers and sales representatives to determine service and scheduling needs
• Generate service calls within the computer program, recording the type and scope of work to be performed
• Work closely with service managers to coordinate technicians, determine schedules, and assign workloads
• Schedule and notify technicians of daily assignments; monitor workload and capacity throughout the day
• Interact with suppliers to verify availability of parts to ensure quality and timely service calls
• Create and maintain new customer accounts with up-to-date and accurate information
• Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures
• High School Diploma / GED required
• Two years of education and/or experience in a related area
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Highly safety conscious
• Excellent organizational skills; self-motivated and able to follow through with minimal supervision
