Job Summary
We are seeking a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative for a direct hire, remote inbound call center opportunity supporting members, pharmacies, and healthcare providers. This role is ideal for a dependable customer service professional who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and working in a structured healthcare support environment.
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you will assist callers with prescription benefits, pharmacy services, billing, eligibility, claims, authorizations, and medication delivery questions. You will receive structured training, company-provided equipment, and ongoing support from leadership to help you succeed in a fast-paced customer care setting. This is a great opportunity to build experience in pharmacy benefits, healthcare customer service, and call center operations while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities- Handle high-volume inbound calls from members, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
- Assist callers with prescription benefits, home-delivery medications, billing, payments, eligibility, coverage, claims, authorizations, and delivery questions.
- Research and resolve customer issues using multiple computer systems and internal resources.
- Accurately document customer interactions, call details, follow-up needs, and resolution steps.
- Use active listening, probing questions, and problem-solving skills to support first-call resolution.
- Meet established expectations for quality, productivity, attendance, and customer experience.

Remote. - Schedule:
Monday through Sunday, with shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM Central Time. - Weekend schedule availability: 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM Central Time.
- Shift length: 8.5 hours, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
- Training: 3 weeks of training plus 1 week of nesting.

- Support inbound pharmacy customer service calls in a high-volume call center environment.
- Research prescription benefit, billing, eligibility, claims, authorization, and medication delivery questions.
- Navigate multiple systems to document interactions and resolve customer issues.
- Maintain service quality, productivity, attendance, and customer satisfaction standards.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn multiple systems.
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Strong verbal communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
- Must have a private, dedicated, distraction-free workspace with a lockable door or private space.
- Must have a hardwired Ethernet internet connection. WiFi is not accepted.
- Minimum internet speeds required: 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
- 5G, hotspots, and satellite internet are not supported.
- Must remain on camera during working hours.
- Must be able to complete an online assessment, background check, and 4-panel drug test.
- Previous call center experience preferred.
- Previous healthcare, pharmacy, insurance, benefits, or claims support experience is helpful.
- Experience handling high-volume inbound calls and working toward first-call resolution is a plus.
