School Crossing Guard - Grand Prairie

All City Management Services is hiring multiple School Crossing Guards throughout Grand Prairie to help support student safety. Crossing Guards play an important role in helping children safely travel to and from school while serving as a positive presence in the community.
Pay$16.50 per hour
. School Crossing Guards work shifts before and after school, Monday through Friday, following the local school calendar. Typical schedule is 1.75 hours per day. Candidates working both assigned shifts receive an additional paid bonus time, with total daily earnings of $49.50.
- Safely assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings
- Monitor traffic flow and maintain safe crossing conditions
- Remain attentive and alert throughout assigned shifts
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers
- Follow all company safety procedures and training guidelines
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Candidates living near the assigned school area may be best positioned for timely arrival to scheduled shifts
This is a part-time position with shifts scheduled before and after school dismissal times.
