You will be the Quality Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) in Grand Prairie, Texas. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured, repaired, and procured products meet or exceed design and process requirements. What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for providing quality engineering expertise to support the program's quality objectives, leveraging your experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures. You will play a critical role in analyzing and resolving process issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality products are delivered to customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes

• Analyzing quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging

• Leading program parts review and corrective action meetings

• Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance

• Evaluating design assurance activities and production process methodology

• Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues

• Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement Why Join Us:

This position is in Dallas. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's level degree or higher in STEM. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Prior Mechanical or Electrical quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products. Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions. Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.

Experience in disposition of non-conforming products. Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Skills:

Hands on experience dealing with inspection of hardware and rework / repair of hardware. Effective communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing. Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration. Demonstrated presentation skills.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
