Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have an active Final Secret clearance.
- Minimum 12 years experience in U.S. military, U.S. Government, or technology based industry.
- Subject matter expert on U.S. Armed Forces fielded Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Programs.
- Possess experience and a current working knowledge of DoD Acquisition process and DoD Directive 5000.1, the Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS), and Army Air and Missile Defense Combat Developments process.
- Possess experience with the U.S. Army Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process, acquisition and procurement business processes, and U.S. Armed Forces Service cultures to align strategic objectives and capture strategies.
- Must possess strong organization and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of management, engineers, Department of Defense officials and Functional employees.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

You will be the Business Development Principal for the Strategy & Business Development team. Our team is responsible for shaping integrated air and missile defense solutions that protect our nation.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Business Development Principal you will be responsible for driving growth across the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) portfolio. You will partner with program management, engineering, and technology groups to translate customer needs into actionable business opportunities.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To- Assessing customer capability gaps and championing advanced technology solutions.
- Identifying, validating, and pursuing new business opportunities within the IAMD lines of business.
- Developing and executing capture plans that align with U.S. Army and joint acquisition strategies.
- Coordinating with the Army Portfolio Acquisition Executive, AAMDC staffs, and other stakeholders to synchronize long‑range strategic plans.
- Supporting the integration of IAMD systems into regional, theater, and homeland defense architectures.

Further Information About This OpportunityThis position is in Dallas, TX, Huntsville, AL, or Lawton, OK.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Desired Skills- Advanced degree in an engineering or science discipline
- Superior knowledge of U.S. Armed Forces AMD operational strategy, tactical employment and modernization strategy.
- Knowledgeable of U.S. Army Program Objective Memorandum (POM) build, acquisition and procurement business processes and U.S. Armed Forces Service cultures.
- Demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and proven success leading high‑performing organizations.
- Superior understanding of the Department of Defense and U.S. Army budgeting and acquisition processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to clearly articulate strategies at multiple levels of business and government. - Effective Team Player – Outstanding organizational ability and demonstrated excellence motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives.
- Understanding of Integrated Air and Missile Defense weapons systems, sensors and advanced military technologies.
