Responsibilities:
Siemens Industry is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for our Grand Prairie, TX factory located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex. Our growing facility has over 1,200 employees that produce high-quality engineered and make-to-order power distribution equipment. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager's responsibilities include leading a team of engineers who provide lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and industrial engineering support to manufacturing / assembly lines, and facilitating lean projects in support of the North Star lean manufacturing transformation at the Grand Prairie site.
You will make an impact by:
Team Management:
* Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing direction, guidance, development opportunities, and evaluating their performance.
Budget Oversight:
* Manage the Manufacturing Engineering budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
Work Prioritization:
* Prioritize and plan work activities for the Manufacturing Engineering team to meet goals and deadlines aligned with Grand Prairie's North Star.
Project Portfolio Management:
* Manage the Manufacturing Engineering project portfolio for the Grand Prairie site.
* Collaborate with the automation team and other cross-functional partners to identify, create business case, and deploy manufacturing automation and other process optimization solutions (including automated machine systems, robotic cells, SCADA, tool control, manufacturing execution systems, etc.).
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
* S. degree or greater in Engineering or related field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, etc.)
* 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing Engineer (or similar) providing support to assembly or manufacturing lines, and leading Cap Ex and automation projects with quantifiable business results
* 2 years of experience as a people leader, managing a team of engineers or technical personnel
* High proficiency in applying lean manufacturing techniques, and delivering tangible business results
* High proficiency in data and analytics
* Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with team building, and developing less experienced engineers
* 6 Sigma / Lean / PMP certification(s)
* Experience with automation, including solution selection and deployment
* Experience simulating / modeling manufacturing systems and processes, and diagnostics
* Experience with lifecycle management systems, MES, QMS, and master data management.
* Experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems
* Experience with Change Management
* Experience in a CBA / Union environment
* Excellent presentation and communication skills

The pay range for this position is $100,603 - $172,462 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
