Manufacturing Engineer Sr
You will be the Sr Tool Planner / Sr Manufacturing Engineer (Level
3) for the Tool Planning team. Our team is responsible for designing tool‑fabrication sequences, integrating inspection requirements, and supporting rework and repair planning.
As the Sr Tool Planner / Sr Manufacturing Engineer (Level
3) you will be responsible for creating efficient production plans that drive tool performance and reliability.
- Design operation sequences and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment.
- Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Support rework and repair planning for existing tools.
- Assist with buy planning and procurement for tooling assets.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure design intent and schedule adherence.
The ideal candidate is a decisive, collaborative engineer with deep expertise in tool planning and manufacturing processes. This role offers direct impact on product performance, exposure to cutting‑edge technologies, and the opportunity to lead critical tooling initiatives.
LocationThis position is in Dallas, Texas (Grand Prairie). The work is performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Security ClearanceThis position requires a Secret clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain the clearance.
