Description

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an early career Systems Integration Engineer who will be supporting hardware and software integration for the PAC-3 Missile. The candidate will be involved in the verification and validation for new test sets as well as actively involved in missile testing throughout the life of the product. The candidate must have knowledge of electrical engineering in the areas of digital, analog, radio frequency circuit designs or electronic components.

This position requires traveling to test sites in the Continental United States (CONUS) – such as White Sands Missile Range, NM;
Lufkin, TX; and Camden, AR – with travel time up to 10% per year (may vary).

What You Will Be Doing
  • Support PAC-3 Missile Production and Sustainment activities for processing, testing and troubleshooting of the PAC-3 systems.
  • Write and execute test plans and test reports.
  • Support failure investigations and resolve hardware, software and test equipment anomalies during system and subsystem testing.
  • Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile.
  • Travel to and support flight test events.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1+ years of related experience in integration test or a related engineering field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Physics.
  • Experience with data analysis and engineering methodology.
  • Familiarity with common lab equipment: DMM, oscilloscopes, power supplies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to attain a SECRET level security clearance.
Desired Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Ability to read wiring schematics and hardware drawings.
  • Familiarity with uncommon lab equipment: milliohm meter, igniter tester, spectrum analyzers.
  • Foundational knowledge of troubleshooting analog and digital electronics.
  • Willingness to travel to CONUS and OCONUS; for OCONUS travel willingness to travel worldwide.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance, and the candidate must be a US Citizen. Clearance Level: SECRET.
