- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, Mentor Graphics, Cadence, or similar tools).
- Experience with simulation tools (LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, NI Multisim, MATLAB, etc.).
- Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, signal generator, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, or similar).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD clearance.
- Exposure to a laboratory, design, or testing environment, engaging with hardware hands‑on (soldering, bread boarding, prototype assembly, or similar).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues demonstrated through hands‑on experience.
- Experience with digital and analog circuit design (PSpice, LTspice, TINA‑TI) including hybrid technologies and high‑speed digital design.
- Experience with signal integrity design tools such as Hyperlynx.
- Microelectronics experience at the transistor level.
- Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) principles.
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microprocessors, and digital signal processing principles.
