Job Description
Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, Florida is looking for an experienced lead test engineer. The team designs, integrates, and ensures the seamless operation of test systems, providing technical support, improving test equipment, and troubleshooting expertise.
What You Will Be DoingThe ATE Test Engineer will design test consoles, interface test adapters (ITAs), test cables, and test fixtures; architect software and write source code; integrate test system hardware, software, and DUT; and perform verification and validation of the test system. You will work with Test Stand, LabVIEW, Matlab, and C# to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing.
Key Responsibilities- Design, upgrade, and support test equipment hardware and software.
- Analyze failures associated with test equipment and provide recommended solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex test system issues.
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Experience designing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware.
- Experience writing ATE software.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (Interim Secret Clearance required to start).
- Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand.
- Experience with verification and validation of test equipment for DoD/DoW products.
Up to 30% travel to Ocala, FL.
Security ClearanceRequirement:
Secret clearance; candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Orlando, Florida. Travel to Ocala, FL may be required.
Work ScheduleFull-time, 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week (First shift).
