Join our team in Grand Prairie, TX as a Quality Assurance Engineer and play a crucial role in driving software quality excellence for advanced engineering projects. [Responsibilities]
- Develop, review, and maintain software quality standards, procedures, and control plans
- Conduct comprehensive software inspections, testing, verification, and validation activities
- Ensure all project and process documentation meets compliance, contract, and regulatory standards
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions using structured problem-solving tools
- Oversee failure mode and effects analyses (D/PFMEA) and first article inspections (AS9102)
- Perform supplier quality assurance and manage control of non-conforming materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, program management, and suppliers
- Support and audit compliance with AS9100 Quality Management Systems
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 15+ years in quality engineering with a focus on standards, audits, and process improvement
- Expertise in D/PFMEA, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
- Strong background in electronic/mechanical inspection methods and control plans
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards
- Experience with government contracting, especially Department of Defense projects
- Skilled in project management, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience managing special processes and daily supplier interfaces
- Familiarity with Material Review Board activities
- Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork in hybrid (remote and onsite) environments
