Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Pulsed Power Engineer to join our growing engineering team.
What You Will Be Doing- Design high voltage, high current, and high frequency power electronics modules (pulse forming networks, MOSFET/IGBT/SiC drivers, resonant converters, bias networks).
- Model pulsed power dynamics, resonant cavities, and microwave feed line interactions.
- Analyze test data, including signal post-processing, visualization, and comparison with modeled data.
- Use computing tools such as MATLAB for simulation, modeling, and data analysis.
- Produce schematics and multi‑layer PCB layouts using tools such as Mentor Graphics.
- Perform circuit analyses; generate bills of materials (BOMs) and manufacturing packages.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including hardware engineers, systems engineers, circuit design engineers, and manufacturing support personnel.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in pulsed power, high power microwaves, or a related discipline.
- Coursework or professional familiarity with electromagnetics, RF, and/or high voltage engineering.
- Proficiency with MATLAB (intermediate level or above).
- Experience with or knowledge of electrical and RF test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, RF power meters, signal generators).
- Experience with schematic capture, multi‑layer PCB layout, and generation of manufacturing deliverables (Cadence, Xpedition, etc).
- Must be a US Citizen; must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Related pulsed power/high power microwave/high voltage internship or early career experience in design, analysis, or test.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with RF/microwave circuit simulation or 3D electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST).
- Experience troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues.
- Familiarity with reviewing and interpreting technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams, and test data.
- Demonstrated academic or professional achievement in engineering or related discipline.
- Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.

Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
