HWIL Asc Manager

Description:

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Engineering and Technology Manager (ETM) and lead for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) systems within the Integration, Test and Evaluation (IT&E) functional directorate. This role requires a technical and operational leader who can drive the design, development, integration and testing of advanced missile and sensor subsystems within a real-time, closed-loop simulation environment.

This leader will oversee a multi-disciplinary engineering team and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful program execution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and demonstrate proficiency in all the tenets of Full Spectrum Leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership and Strategy:
Candidate must exhibit all Full Spectrum leadership attributes of shaping the future, building effective relationships, energizing the team, delivering results, and modeling personal excellence, integrity, and accountability.

* Multi-Product Line Oversight:
Manage HWIL development, test, and integration efforts with varying technical and contractual requirements.

* Technical Execution:
Direct development and sustainment of HWIL capabilities, including sensor modeling and closed-loop simulation.

* Government and Customer Liaison:
Serve as the primary point of contact for USG HWIL counterparts, coordinating roadmaps, capabilities, and future upgrades.

* Program Management & Earned Value:
Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM), responsible for cost, schedule and budget execution across HWIL development efforts.

* IRAD & Technology Development:
Work with internal R&D teams to define and implement next-generation HWIL capabilities to support evolving mission needs.

Basic Qualifications:

* B.S. in Electrical, Aerospace, Systems or a related Engineering discipline. (M.S. preferred)

* 5+ years of professional engineering experience in an HWIL role

* Experience as an Agile Product Owner leading the technical design, performance and execution of an HWIL capability.

* Strong technical background in real-time HWIL integration, missile sensor integration, IR/RF signal generation, and digital modeling.

* Experience executing Real-Time, Closed-Loop Simulations supporting Pre-Flight Simulation and walk-up to a missile flight test event.

* Expertise in System Engineering processes and HWIL verification methodologies.

* Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

* Active Secret clearance.

Desired

Skills:

* M.S. in Electrical, Aerospace, Systems or a related Engineering discipline.

* Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).

* Experience managing multiple programs and balancing technical and business objectives.

* Experience designing, integrating and testing RF Up conversion / Down conversion, Attenuation and Signal Control Subsystems

* Experience integrating digital models into a real-time, closed-loop simulation utilizing C++.

* Experience simulating Datalink, GPS, Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) and Control Actuation Systems (CAS).

Security Clearance Statement:

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
