Job Description

You will be the Electro Mechanical Engineer Lead for the Integrated Fires Protection Capability 2 Interceptor (IFPC
2) program. Our team designs, builds, and tests next generation interceptors for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) portfolio, delivering critical capabilities to protect our nation and allies.

Responsibilities
  • Generate system interconnect diagrams in Zuken and create model‑based harness designs.
  • Produce detailed mechanical layouts, drawings, and Bills of Materials that specify materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
  • Support procurement by obtaining quotes, coordinating with the model shop and outside vendors, and overseeing build and assembly of new electronics modules.
  • Define acceptance test criteria, perform verification testing, and document results to confirm compliance with performance, size, weight, power, and environmental requirements.
  • Provide technical support during design reviews, engineering data releases, assembly, inspection, and test activities.
  • Collaborate with structural, thermal, configuration management, electrical, mechanical, subcontract, planning, and quality partners to resolve issues and drive seamless integration.
  • Travel to supplier sites or program locations as needed to support critical milestones, interface reviews, and field verification.
