* You will be a Structural Analyst for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control MFC team Our team is responsible for performing structural and dynamics analysis for our missile and launch systems, supporting initial and detail designs of advanced hardware from concept through the full product life cycle
** What You Will Be Doing*
* As a structural analyst, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in dynamic and structural analysis to drive the development of new aerospace products You will work collaboratively with cross functional teams to plan, develop, and test innovative solutions
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting conceptual and detailed design of advanced hardware through the full product life cycle via dynamics and structural analysis
- Collaborating with individuals from complementary disciplines within Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sub Contracts organizations
- Applying research to the planning, development, and testing of new aerospace and related products
- Working with little direction to develop advanced technical principles, techniques, and concepts
- Being proficient in dynamic/structural analysis, finite element analysis, structural/vibration testing, and test correlation
- Utilizing related application software such as ANSA, Nastran, Abaqus, NX, FEMAP, Patran, and Hyper Mesh

* Basic Qualifications:
*
* Professional experience, working specifically in a engineering role focused on Structural analysis
Experience leading structural analysis efforts, including defining tasks and executing to schedules
Extensive finite element modeling experience with related application software such as ANSA, Nastran, Abaqus, NX, FEMAP, Patran, and/or Hyper Mesh

Skills:

* Extensive professional, hands on experience providing structural analysis support for product
Extensive knowledge in the following static and dynamic analysis:
Stress Analysis, Modal analysis, Shock analysis, Vibration analysis, test support and model correlation
Experience in developing new structural/dynamics loads environments
Ability to work with little direction and develop advanced technical principles, techniques and concepts
Experience as a structural analysis team lead, defining tasks for team members and serving as a mentor to junior employees
Experience in hardware and development
Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills
Mature computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point
