Description
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Mid‑career Systems Integration Engineer who will be supporting hardware and software integration for the PAC‑3 Missile. The candidate will be involved in the verification and validation for new test sets and actively involved in missile testing throughout the life of the product. The position requires knowledge of electrical engineering in the areas of digital, analog, radio frequency circuit designs or electronic components.
The role requires travel to test sites within the Continental United States (CONUS), with travel up to 10% per year, to locations such as White Sands Missile Range, NM, Lufkin, TX and Camden, AR for flight test and production support.
- Support PAC‑3 Missile Production and Sustainment activities related to processing, testing, and troubleshooting of the PAC‑3 systems.
- Write and execute test plans and test reports.
- Lead and support failure investigations and resolve hardware, software, and test equipment anomalies during system and subsystem testing.
- Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile.
- Travel to and support flight test events.
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Physics related field.
- Familiar with data analysis and system integration methodology.
- Familiarity with common lab equipment: DMM, oscilloscopes, power supplies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read wiring schematics and hardware drawings.
- Must be able to attain a SECRET level security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- PAC‑3 knowledge.
- Previous experience as a Material Review Board Engineer (MRBE).
- Experience with SAP and Apriso applications.
- Familiar with uncommon lab equipment: milliohm meter, igniter tester, spectrum analyzers.
- Foundational knowledge of troubleshooting analog and digital electronics.
This position requires a US citizenship and the ability to attain a SECRET level government security clearance.
LocationThis position is in Dallas, Texas.
Schedule4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
