Description
You will be the Program Planner, Senior for the Integrated Program Planning team. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining program schedules and plans, driving program execution, and serving as trusted partners and strategic advisors for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for new or existing development, production, and sustainment programs.
- Track progress of program activities against baseline internal plans and ensure schedule margin to contract dates.
- Perform probabilistic/deterministic risk analysis, identify critical/driving paths, and develop resolution solutions.
- Support and participate in negotiations with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop proposal submittal and execution schedules, and assess progress against established plans and parameters.
- Recommend corrective action measures, such as schedule revisions, fund allocations, and work requirements.
- Maintain cost and schedule integration throughout the program lifecycle.
- Implement and monitor Earned Value Management Systems on programs.
- Experience with network scheduling tools (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical path methodology.
- Experience delivering leadership project briefings.
- Experience with Schedule Performance Management techniques, e.g., Earned Value Management.
- Ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Six or more years of experience in planning or program management related discipline.
- Proficiency in network scheduling tools (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc.).
- Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance.
- Production / Sustainment / Depot Operations experience.
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development.
- Proposal development and submittal.
- Integrated Master Plan (IMP) creation and integration.
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros, lookup tables, and VBA.
- Experience with the Schedule Risk Assessment process/tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
This position requires a government security clearance. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance Level: Secret.
