Engineer Intern

Job Overview

Engineering Intern position located in Grand Prairie, TX. The role involves supporting 3D printing operations and working on shot peening robots with the Business Unit Manager.

Location:

Grand Prairie, TX | Salary: $18‑$21 per hour (range is a general guideline; final offer will reflect qualifications and market conditions).

• Operate and maintain a 3D printer.
• Learn casting techniques and manufacture tooling.
• Identify opportunities for masking and general improvements.
• Create Solid Works models, assemblies, and drawings.
• Support machine improvements, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Research and procure materials from vendors.
• Potentially travel to facilities for on‑site work.

• Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering student, 2nd‑4th year of studies.
• Experience with CAD modeling, preferably Solid Works.
• Experience with 3D printing using Simplify3D.
• Design and build experience (robot/team projects or personal projects).
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

This position may require exposure to export‑controlled information and is subject to additional security screening.
