What You Will Be Doing

Lockheed Martin is seeking an emerging authority Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer with an active Secret clearance for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. PAC-3 Weapon Systems Integration Programs is looking for a Performance/M&S engineer to support hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulations for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems. The successful candidate will understand how to plan and conduct successful HWIL testing and communicate status to senior leadership.

This role will require onsite support full-time at Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX working a 4/10 Flex schedule. This position requires a current DoD Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, or similar STEM field
  • Active Final Secret clearance
  • Familiarity with Missile Guidance, Navigation and Control concepts
  • Proficient in C++, MATLAB
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) simulation experience
  • Flight software integration and verification experience
  • Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
