PAC-Command Launch System; CLS Chief Engineer

About the Role

This position is for a Chief Engineering Manager for the Chief Engineer Development section, supporting the Lower Tier IAMD PAC‑3 Command Launch System (CLS) production. The team provides technical leadership and support to missile production programs.

• Lead technical efforts and provide technical support to missile production programs.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and exercise the right processes.
• Lead Failure Analysis and Failure Review Boards.
• Communicate technical status and issues internally and externally to program, technical, and functional leadership.
• Represent engineering & technology on the CLS Production Corrective Action Board (CAB).
• Collaborate with subcontractors and manage subcontract technical activities.
• Work closely with the Army customer and maintain familiarity with PAC‑3 CLS Segment requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Have demonstrated experience planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all phases of development, including SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA and transition to production.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical teams.
• Possess initiative to ensure technical leadership and support for development processes.
• Show strong understanding of Full Spectrum Leadership principles (technical, people, business, strategic).

• Engineering degree with demonstrated record of increasing leadership responsibility.
• Secret clearance with an investigation in the past five years.
• Experience planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all phases of development, including SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA and transition to production.
• Wide experience/familiarity working with Engineering Excellence functional organization.
• Experience leading Failure Analysis and Failure Review Boards.
• Knowledge of Air & Missile Defense systems.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to mentor engineering team members.
• Knowledge of Test Engineering processes in development and production support.

• Familiarity with the Lower Tier IAMD Missile Segment and its requirements, combined with working knowledge of the Army customer.
• Working knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and subcontract technical management.

Grand Prairie, TX; occasional domestic travel required. Position requires on‑site work with flexible hours.

Secret clearance with investigation or CV date within five years. US citizen required. This position requires a government security clearance.
