Senior Quality Engineer – Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC)
We are looking for a seasoned and collaborative Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. As a senior leader in the quality organization, you will shape our quality strategy, mentor junior engineers, and drive excellence in our products and processes.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality engineering efforts, developing and implementing quality standards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement in our processes and products.

Basic Qualifications- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- STEM degree at Bachelor’s level or higher, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Must be able to identify and document quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action
- Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems
- Understanding of engineering drawing requirements and mechanical/electrical inspection methods
- STEM degree at bachelor’s level or higher preferred
- Previous Quality Experience
- RCCA Analysis Experience
- Manufacturing Experience
- Shop floor Experience
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to multi‑task, meet deadlines, and support all supplier quality field engineering activities
Must be a U.S. Citizen. The position requires a Secret clearance. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain this clearance.
Work Schedule4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week. The employee selected for this position will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a Lockheed Martin facility, with the specific weekly schedule to be discussed during the hiring process.
