You will be a Supplier Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Precision Fires team.
What You Will Be DoingIn this role, you will be collaborating with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customers on quality‑related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. The SQE will engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventative action implementation. The SQE will also ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards that are also compliant with customer requirements. You will also develop strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications- Ability to travel
- STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher
- Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Must be able to identify and document quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action
- Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems
- Understanding engineering/mechanical drawing requirements
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with control and disposition of non‑conforming material (Material Review Boards)
- Experience working with Government customers
- A strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensions & Tolerancing)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- Must be able to multi‑task and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills - both written and verbal
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
