- Design, develop, and deploy embedded algorithms that perform inertial tracking, inertial navigation and/or sensor fusion.
- Develop, verify, and validate complex models and simulations leveraging match filters, convolutional neural networks, and techniques to detect targets of interest.
- Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments and verify system and subsystem level requirements.
- Perform critical studies, analyses, and test activities supporting ground and flight test efforts including Hardware‑In‑The‑Loop (HWIL) activities.
- Join small teams of engineers and algorithm developers across various programs at different stages of product development.
- Support program reviews and technical interchange meetings with internal leadership and external customers.

Basic Qualifications- BS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, applied mathematics, or a similar STEM degree and 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Interim Secret Clearance is needed to start; must be a US Citizen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity in SW development environments like Git using programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C++, FORTRAN, or Ada.
- Solid foundation in linear algebra, dynamics, coordinate frame transformations, and state estimation techniques.
- Experience using a Linux‑based operating system.
- Familiarity with linear algebra, probability and statistics, state dynamic equations, Kalman filter applications, kinematics and rotating coordinate systems.
- Experience integrating and testing hardware and software in Hardware In‑The‑Loop (HWIL).
- Prior experience supporting flight tests.
- Ability to travel up to two weeks at a time to White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico to support flight tests. Experience in air and missile defense, development, and testing is required.
Active Secret Clearance. This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
