Description
You will be the Quality Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) in Grand Prairie, Texas. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured, repaired, and procured products meet or exceed design and process requirements.
What You Will Be Doing- Providing quality engineering expertise to support the program's quality objectives, leveraging experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures.
- Analyzing and resolving process issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality products are delivered to customers.
- Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes.
- Analyzing quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging.
- Leading program parts review and corrective action meetings.
- Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Evaluating design assurance activities and production process methodology.
- Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues.
- Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.

LocationThis position is located in Dallas, Texas. The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s level degree or higher in STEM.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Prior mechanical or electrical quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures for inspection of manufactured and procured products.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods, and work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.
- Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Hands‑on experience dealing with inspection of hardware and rework/repair of hardware.
- Effective communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
This position requires a government security clearance. The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Work ScheduleLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. The schedule for this position is 4x10 hour days, with 3 days off per week.
