GNC Modeling & Simulation Engineer Senior - Grand Prairie, TX

• Design and documentation of model and simulation requirements and architecture
• Develop, verify, and validate complex models and simulations such as missile 6‑degree‑of‑freedom (6‑DOF) and effects‑based simulations
• Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments and verify system and subsystem level requirements
• Perform critical studies, analyses, and test activities
• Support ground and flight test efforts, including Hardware‑In‑The‑Loop (HWIL) activities
• Support program reviews and technical interchange meetings with internal leadership and external customers

• BS degree or higher in computer science, physics, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field
• Interim clearance required; applicant must be a U.S. citizen
• Foundational proficiency in C++
• Intermediate proficiency in Matlab or Python
• Experience or coursework in guidance, navigation, autopilot, inertial tracking, servo control algorithms, and vehicle simulation (e.g., missile 6‑DOF)
• Strong math skills in linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate transformations
• Willingness to work onsite in a classified area or laboratory environment

• Experience operating in Linux environments
• Experience with Agile development processes
• Ability to perform pre‑flight system performance assessment and post‑flight verification analyses
• Experience deploying algorithms that satisfy real‑time performance requirements
• Experience with Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops  CI/CD pipelines and software version control such as Git
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Secret level with investigation or CV date within 5 years. A government security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
