Job Description

This position is for a Sustainment Engineer to support Life Cycle Logistics Support (Supply Support) responsible for the logistics and support requirements throughout the lifecycle of the product. The engineer ensures that the final product or system meets the technical, timing, and affordability requirements. Responsibilities include reporting, data analysis, and maintaining open communication with Field Service Representatives. Coordination of supply-related services for material and hardware movements, shipment in and out of the facility, and tracking calibrated tooling to ensure date compliance are also required.

The role requires working well with other team members, handling multiple tasks, providing logistical support for various contracts, and maintaining awareness of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Personnel are on call 24/7 to provide Sustainment, Logistics, and Field Support. The candidate will interface daily with multiple disciplines, provide technical knowledge in testing, operation, calibration, and maintenance for the HIMARS and M270 Launchers, and offer technical guidance and liaison assistance on operational difficulties involving these systems.

Some travel may be required.

• Ability to obtain Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience/combined education or previous military experience.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehousing activities.
• Ability to execute warehouse tasks that involve lifting items that weigh 40 lbs.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (pallet stacker, forklift, etc.).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency/experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Active Secret clearance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
• Ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.
• Electric standup pallet stacker or forklift experience.
• Experience with the Army supply system.
• Military experience.

This position requires a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens. Clearance level:
Secret.
