Position:
Emerging Authority Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer (GNC Engineer/Aerodynamicist).

Location:

Grand Prairie, TX or Orlando, FL (or Dallas, TX). Onsite full‑time at Lockheed Martin's headquarters, 4/10 Flex schedule. 4x10 day schedule, 3 days off per week.

• Perform simulation and modeling of missile 6
  
  DOF Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS).
• Generate aerodynamics models and support maturation of GNC algorithms.
• Participate in system performance assessments, trade studies, and test data analyses for optimal IFS implementation of Guidance, Navigation, and Autopilot onboard algorithms.
• Travel may be required for customer coordination and qualification test efforts.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar STEM field with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in analysis of fluid dynamics or aerodynamics.
• Familiarity with aerodynamic modeling and simulation.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and C++.
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance with investigation within last 5 years or current continuous evaluation.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux distributions (Desired).
• Knowledge of aerodynamic conceptual design (Desired).

Position requires a U.S. government security clearance. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance Level: Secret with investigation or CV date within 5 years.
