Description

Senior Circuit Design Engineer for the Non Kinetic Air Defense (NKAD) & Counter Swarm team. Our team designs, prototypes, tests, and rapidly fields advanced electronic solutions that protect U.S. and allied forces. We turn high risk concepts into flight ready hardware on accelerated schedules.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Senior Circuit Design Engineer you will be responsible for leading end to end circuit card development—from early architecture through production release—while collaborating with system, software, test, and manufacturing partners. You will help shape the technical direction of multiple defense programs and ensure that every design meets strict SWaP C, performance, and reliability requirements.

  • Defining subsystem requirements, conducting trade studies, and establishing architecture for platform and sensor electronics.
  • Driving schematic capture, EPCAD layout, and signal integrity analysis for circuit card assemblies in constrained environments.
  • Owning the full design lifecycle: concept, simulation, layout, build up, verification, and delivery of all Design Assurance Review artifacts.
  • Performing circuit simulations, power budgeting, and signal integrity checks using Cadence PSpice, Hyper Lynx, or equivalent tools.
  • Specifying, sourcing, and managing bill of materials and prototype build activities.
  • Coordinating environmental qualification testing (vibration, shock, thermal, radiation) and interpreting results to guide design refinements.
  • Generating and maintaining clear technical documentation—architecture diagrams, requirements packages, trade study reports, and test data logs.
  • Partnering with cross‑functional teams to integrate hardware smoothly into larger systems and accelerate fielding timelines.
Benefits

We offer flexible work schedules and comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security.
