- Develop robust interconnect solutions—power distribution, signal integrity routing, grounding, shielding and mil spec connector/cable designs.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (systems, software, manufacturing, quality) to resolve integration and interface challenges.
- Manage non conforming hardware through Material Review Board (MRB) processes and implement corrective actions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation: schematics, test procedures, failure reports and engineering change packages.
- Support the MFC Design Assurance process and actively contribute to design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.).
- Interface with suppliers on technical specifications, issue resolution and hardware deliveries, ensuring traceability and compliance.
Flexible work schedules.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum 3 years of professional experience with electrical hardware design or a related discipline.
- Experience in electrical hardware design for development and/or production phases in aerospace or a similar industry.
- Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit card assemblies (CCA).
- Experience troubleshooting hardware like CCAs, harnesses, etc.
- Strong hands‑on skills with electrical/electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, DMMs, automated test equipment).
- Proven background providing production line support, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Must be a US Citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

- Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
- Experience working technical proposals.
- Experience with signal integrity design tools such as Hyperlynx.
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles.
- Experience with Windchill or Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
- Experience working failure investigation, root cause, and corrective action.
- Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during technical issue investigation.
- Experience dispositioning and/or troubleshooting non‑conforming hardware (Failure Review Board and Material Review Board).
- Candidate able to obtain MRBE status with appropriate training/mentoring.
- Knowledge of or experience in obsolescence management.
