Description

The Engineering Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for bridging technical execution with localized revenue growth. This position will oversee facility projects designed to optimize operations and drive profitability. This position requires a proactive leader who thrives in collaborative environments, representing the engineering department at both onsite and offsite corporate meetings to influence business-critical decisions and project scaling. The Engineering Manager will report directly to the Director of Engineering and will lead a team of direct reports.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Attend and contribute to onsite and offsite corporate meetings, ensuring engineering facility projects are aligned with the company's strategic vision and revenue goals.
  • Lead the planning and execution of facility-based engineering projects, focusing on infrastructure improvements that directly enhance operations throughout.
  • Take ownership of engineering initiatives specifically targeted to generate or support 3-5 percent in annual revenue growth.
  • Provide direct supervision and mentorship to a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during facility upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing business operations.

Manage project budgets and resource allocation to ensure facility improvements are delivered on time and within financial parameters.

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related field).
  • Minimum Five years of engineering experience, including a minimum of eighteen months in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proven track record of managing projects or initiatives that have contributed to revenue targets.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate technical facility requirements into business outcomes during corporate off sites.
  • Ability to travel to various facility locations both local and abroad as needed.

Demonstrated ability to manage facility projects that balance technical constraints with aggressive growth timelines.
