About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer - 2nd Shift, the hours for this role are from 3:00pm - 11:00pm. This position will be based at our Grand Prairie systems facility.

We’re excited for you to join our team. You’ll make an impact by:

  • Driving quality control and assurance in our assembly and manufacturing process.
  • Drive cross functional teams to improve Cost of Quality, FPY and Warranty costs.
  • Develop and improve FMEA and control plans for manufacturing processes.
  • Improve customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and improving product quality.
  • Implement tools and controls to improve First pass yield.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues with cross functional teams.
  • Support production in making quality-related decisions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product design and manufacturability.
  • Accountable for First Pass Yield, Scrap and warranty costs for manufacturing line.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading cross functional team in a production environment
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
  • Knowledge of QMS, CAPA and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45000.
  • Training and demonstrated success in FMEA, DoE and applying problem solving methods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Knowledge
  • Six Sigma and ASQ Certification preferred. Black belt is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Minitab, JMP or other statistical software.
  • Knowledge of UL standards for switchboards and panels.

The pay range for this position is $67,544 - $115,790 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
