HWIL Deputy Team Lead | Lockheed Martin
Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced IT&E Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Product Owner and Deputy Team Lead to manage the test and integration of advanced HWIL subsystems. The Deputy Team Lead is responsible for development and integration of real-time, closed-loop systems to characterize system performance. The team is comprised of engineers working across multiple disciplines.
General
• Product Owner and Primary Technical Point-of-Contact (POC) for the design, integration and test of HWIL test capabilities
• Integration of UUT HW and testing in a real-time, closed-loop simulation
• Design, operate, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain advanced Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) systems, subsystems and components
• Provide engineering leadership and guidance to a large group of HWIL engineers
• Analyze simulation output and troubleshoot system performance deficiencies
• Perform quick-look analysis and data reduction of HWIL simulation output data
• HWIL Flight Test Support – Integrate RF Sensor Stimulation capabilities with a real-time, closed-loop simulation;
Provide test support for critical program Flight Test series
• Manage the repair and/or replacement of RF subsystem components (couplers, attenuators, phase shifters, mixers, filters, isolators, et al.)
Desired skills
• Master's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
• Experience integrating and testing RF Sensors
• Experience using RF Test Equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes
• Experience with Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process including working through System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR)
• Experience integrating real-time models into a closed-loop simulation
• Experience simulating Datalink, GPS and Firing Module Simulators
