You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. (Electronics Fabrication, Level
3) for the Missiles and Fire Control Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for supporting sustainment re-cap, re-certification (MRO), and Customer Field Service (CFS) for missile systems.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. you will be responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing processes, work instructions, and risk-mitigation plans while driving cost-reduction initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Create and maintain work instructions, task lists, and re-work/repair procedures for circuit card assemblies, harnesses, and electromechanical sub-assemblies.
- Identify production risks, develop mitigation plans, and lead validation activities on the shop floor.
- Drive cost-reduction projects to closure and support testing, tooling, and hardware issue resolution.
- Lead process-improvement initiatives using lean principles to reduce waste and improve affordability.
- Collaborate with shop-floor personnel, program management, suppliers, and customers to ensure quality, schedule, and safety goals are met.
