RoleWe are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer experienced with PLC programming and automation. This position is based in Grand Prairie, TX at our Breaker plant.
You’ll make an impact by:- Develop and implement projects utilizing Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal while adhering to internal programming standards.
- Provide technical support, guidance, and training to production teams for PLC-related issues, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process and productivity improvement, equipment optimization, and automation opportunities.
- Implement engineering change notifications including updates to labels and laser printing, bills of materials, kanban materials, MES systems, and trace data.
- Participate in and lead improvement projects to increase OEE and productivity.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment working with PLCs.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic familiarity with TCP/IP networking concepts.
- Ability to work hands-on in a light manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and TIA Portal software.
- Experience with Siemens safety relays and Safety ES.
- Familiarity with 3D and 2D CAD software.
- Experience with configuration and integration of computerized torque tools.
- Familiarity with Modbus, TCP/IP, and/or Cubicle BUS protocols.

Pay and Benefits
Salary information:
The pay range for this position is $67,544 – $115,790 annually. The actual wage offered may vary based on budget, candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. Siemens offers comprehensive health and wellness benefits. Details are available here:
