Design Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Design Engineer with Security Clearance
• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and structures while supporting product development and manufacturing operations.
• The role involves concept development, 3D modeling, design reviews, engineering documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain finished 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using Creo

• Develop design concepts and support design reviews

• Design mechanical primary and secondary structures

• Perform GD&T application and engineering documentation activities

• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design compliance and producibility

• Review drawings and layouts for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards

• Identify design issues and recommend improvements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Creo design experience

• Minimum 2 years of Windchill PLM/PDM experience

• Experience with mechanical primary and secondary structures

• Minimum 1 year of concept development experience

• Minimum 1 year of design review content preparation experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience creating finished 3D models

• Minimum 2 years of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with complex mechanical/electrical concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Model-Based Definition
