Sr. Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control is seeking a Sr. Electro Mechanical Engineer to work in the Grand Prairie, TX facility.

This Lower Tier IAMD PAC-3 Sustainment position will support Ground Support Equipment Depot Recapitalization and Repair activity and Ground System Equipment improvement development projects.

The candidate will be responsible for the engineering disposition of mechanical defects. The candidate will be responsible for releasing engineering drawings and specifications. The candidate will support field failure investigations and repair activity which may require travel to offsite locations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
• A minimum of 1 year of experience is required showing the demonstrated ability to identify and disposition electromechanical hardware defects, interpret engineering drawings, military specifications, and process requirements.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience determining the root cause of mechanical / electro-mechanical failures and implementing a corrective action is required

The following are highly desired skills:

• 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree
• Effective organization, communication, and teaming skills
• Experience developing standard repair processes
• Pro-E / CREO experience is highly desirable
• Circuit card assembly and sub-assembly manufacturing experience are highly desirable
• PATRIOT Air Defense System experience is desirable

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
