Quality Inspector - Part 145 Helicopter Repair Station

Reporting to the Quality Manager, The Quality Inspector ensures that all work performed on the Aircraft and its components comply with Repair Station, Manufactures, Customer, FAR, and airworthiness requirements.

Working under the direction of the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence. You will be responsible for verifying that all work executed on aircraft and components strictly complies with Repair Station standards, manufacturer manuals, FAR regulations, as well as customer and airworthiness requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Ensure Airworthiness: Verify that all work performed on aircraft and their components strictly complies with Repair Station, manufacturer, customer, FAR, and airworthiness requirements.
• Master Regulatory Compliance: Ensure proper execution of prescribed FAA forms (Form 337, 8130-10, 8110, etc.) for major repairs or alterations.
• Supervise Inspections: Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections on all articles processed by the Repair Station.
• Trace and Document: Perform aircraft records research, assist in developing aircraft status sheets, and ensure the proper tagging and identification of all parts.
• Support the Team: Assist with Repair Station training, perform weight and balance computations, review work orders, and secure STC or Field approvals.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Credentials: You hold an active Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license. An IA-FAA certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: You have a minimum of 4 years working on Rotorcraft, including at least 2 years as a Quality Inspector on rotorcraft.
• Technical Knowledge: Highly knowledgeable of manufacturer maintenance manuals (specifically Bell, Airbus, and Leonardo), company operations, and FARs.
• Environment: Previous hands-on experience in a 145 Repair Station is required.

  Experience with Lean Six Sigma or Lean Logic is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills in English are essential.
