Job Description *
* You will be the Circuit Card Design Engineer for the Hardware Engineering team at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). Our team designs, develops and fields precision engagement aerospace and defense systems, delivering high reliability circuit card assemblies (CCAs) that power missiles, sensors and other mission critical subsystems.

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Circuit Design Engineer you will ensure technical excellence across your assigned tasks, drive those tasks to successful completion, and keep stakeholders fully informed of progress and issues. You'll work closely with production, program, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, on‑schedule hardware.  
** Your responsibilities will include:*
* + Lead supplier technical activities for a subsystem.

+ Oversee full product life cycle: design development, milestone reviews, SDRL concurrence, Functional Acceptance Test, Design Verification Test (DVT), and environmental qualification (MIL STD 810, MIL STD 464).

+ Coordinate Functional & Physical Configuration Audits and Production Readiness events.

+ Report risks/concerns to Program Manager and Chief Engineer; act as liaison to resolve supplier issues.

+ Partner with government counterparts as Lockheed Martin's subsystem representative.

+ Drive innovative, affordable, schedule focused solutions while upholding mission and safety requirements.

+ Capture requirements and perform detailed schematic design for a high-performance FPGA processing circuit card.

+ Design and support layout of high-speed digital interfaces, including high pin-count BGA routing.

+ Perform or support signal- and power-integrity analysis for high-speed digital and power circuitry.

+ Support design verification, bench checkout, and integration testing of the circuit card.

+ Collaborate with PLD/FPGA, software, and mechanical packaging engineers.

+ Document designs and support change control per standard engineering release processes.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

** Basic Qualifications*
* - Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university

- Extensive experience with circuit card design, integration, and test across multiple domains (digital, power, analog, FPGA/SoC)

- Experience with developing and refining system requirements, including performance, interface, and environmental requirements

- Experience interpreting complex electrical schematics for circuit card assemblies

- Experience in missile level architecture development of new missile concept through Systems Requirement Review (SRR)

- Experience in leading team to further develop missile through flight demonstration in 4 years

** Desired Skills*
* + Experience designing circuit cards for size-, weight-, and power-constrained (SWaP-constrained) platforms such as missiles, munitions, or other aerospace electronics.
