Under the general direction of a manager, the Associate Engineer on the End User Computing team provides technical support to Inmar associates as outlined below. The incumbent is responsible for implementation and support of all end‑user endpoints, including software and the systems used to access, deploy and manage them. The incumbent must have good troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service skills and the ability to track multiple details to conclusion.
OfficeEnvironment
As a member of the End User Computing Office team, the incumbent provides first‑line support for IT issues of a basic to moderate complexity level. This may involve troubleshooting end‑user workstation hardware and/or software on‑site and off‑site.
Warehouse EnvironmentAs a member of the End User Computing Warehouse team, the incumbent is responsible for the high volume, centrally managed workstation hardware and software utilized in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
- Associate’s degree in a related technical field preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1‑3 years of work experience with computer hardware or software required
- Or any equivalent combination of experience and training in software, hardware & technology applications:
Zendesk, G Suite, Office
365, Active Directory, Windows 7, Windows 10 and Mac OS required - Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must possess good communication skills – speak and write articulately
- Must have a teamwork attitude and be able to partner with other departments to establish a positive work environment
- Must be able to work under pressure and adapt to change – short deadlines, late requests, new requirements
- Must be able to track multiple details to conclusion, document findings and solutions
- Act with ownership, accountability, honesty and urgency
- Availability to travel (Warehouse Environment)
