Software Engineer Sr AI​/Data Visualization Developer

Software Engineer Sr. – AI / Data Visualization Developer for the Missiles and Fire Control CIO organization. Responsible for delivering program technology and information systems through the development of a Digital Command Center.

Orlando, FL or Dallas, TX only.

• Develop and maintain the Digital Command Center platform.
• Design and code AI and data‑visualization solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on product design and Model‑Based Enterprise projects.
• Translate business requirements into user‑centered analytics products.
• Support planning, organization, and execution of enterprise initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• 3+ years combining design, development, and data visualization in professional settings.
• Ability to translate design concepts into functional, interactive prototypes and production code.
• Experience with modern front‑end technologies (React, Vue, Angular, Django or similar).
• Experience using AI development tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong storytelling abilities.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design‑to‑implementation projects, interactive dashboards, and data visualization solutions.
• Experience with a variety of design and Dev Sec Ops  techniques (or Software Factory).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross‑functional environment.

• Experience in Design thinking methodologies.
• Advanced JavaScript, Python, and CSS capabilities.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
• Collaborative design tools (e.g., Miro, Mural, Figma).
• Design software (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
• Agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with diverse, remote teams.
• Knowledge of design tokens and scalable design principles.
• Strong user experience and interface design principles.
• Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly, etc.).
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
• Data literacy and ability to understand complex datasets and business requirements.

This position requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and be eligible for a Secret clearance.
