Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX
.

Responsibilities

• Work proficiently with Linux/UNIX (Red Hat, Rocky, Ubuntu), installation and configuration with Kickstart, and working knowledge of Linux "Command Line" functions.
• Experience with Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, etc.)
• Install and configure network devices (i.e., network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.).
• Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets, also known as network connections (activation of data drops).
• Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
• Assist in the relocation of customer employees to the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in the new location).
• Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)
• Assist with imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience with basic technical hardware repair.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with setup and configuring PCs.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with desktop support.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Linux/UNIX (Red Hat, Rocky, Ubuntu)

Preferred Skills /

Qualifications:

• Experience with Installation and Configuration with Kickstart
• Experience with Working knowledge of Linux "Command Line" functions
• Experience with Scripting and Automation (Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, etc.)

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
