About the Role
You will be the Data Scientist Analyst (Level
4) for the Supply Chain Analytics and Affordability Team. Our team is responsible for transforming refined data into actionable insights that drive supply‑chain decisions and delivering business‑ready data products.
As the Data Scientist Analyst (Level
4) you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data marts that enable supply‑chain analytics.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design and implement data marts that contain business‑ready metrics and insights.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, and business stakeholders to ensure technical and functional requirements are met.
- Translate refined data into actionable insights that influence supply‑chain decisions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data‑mart architecture, data lineage, and usage guidelines.
- Support fast‑paced, cross‑functional projects by providing timely data solutions and troubleshooting issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in building data models for end user consumption, optimizing queries and data structures for analytic purposes.
- Experience writing data transformation jobs (e.g., metrics, aggregations, etc.) using SQL.
- Strong knowledge of data management principles, best practices, and standards, including data governance, data quality, and data security.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with data architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify patterns, trends, and insights.
- Experience in entity‑relationship modeling, data warehousing, and big data modeling.
- Experience with Python or R, especially relating to data orchestration tasks.
- Strong familiarity with data warehousing concepts, business intelligence tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Understanding of LM supply chain and/or procurement processes.
