Printpack’s IT Technical Support group services operations across the United States. The Technical Support Analyst works at plant locations to achieve IT operational excellence, supporting manufacturing and customer order delivery.
Responsibilities- Resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 incidents, escalating as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and collaborate with vendors on IT hardware and network issues.
- Provide end‑user support for Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, SharePoint, and Microsoft Access databases.
- Perform preventive maintenance, ensuring business continuity.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory and ensure peripherals availability.
- Administer user accounts through Active Directory.
- Support WAN/LAN technologies including switches, routers, Wi‑Fi access points, port configurations, and remote VPN.
- Act as conduit between plant and corporate ITPM resources; collaborate with corporate and engineering, escalating as needed.
- Support enterprise applications and databases.
- Own issues and follow through to completion.
- Assist with strategic corporate initiatives and projects.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and process standardization.
- Stay current on technology trends to improve customer experience and productivity.
- Provide on‑call support and escalation as required.
- Hands‑on experience with desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart devices running Windows
10; imaging, software installs, restores. - Experience with virtual servers, patch management, and network strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑starter with high motivation and ability to work with geographically dispersed management.
- CompTIA A+ and MCSA certifications preferred but not mandatory.
