Sr. DevOps Engineer

Requirements

• Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience gained through work, training, military service, or education.
  • 9+ years of experience in data center networking and/or cloud networking, including familiarity with shared storage, clustering, and failover concepts.
  • At least 5 years of scripting experience, such as Power Shell.
  • At least 5 years of programming or comparable development experience.
  • At least 5 years of database development or similar experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of infrastructure virtualization, cloud technologies, and networking.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of source code management.
  • Knowledge of automated build, deployment, and testing practices.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure orchestration and configuration management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across IT teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Preferred:
  • Scripting and automation with Power Shell and Python.
  • Software development with .NET.
  • Database CI/CD automation and development.
  • Automated testing development to support CI/CD.
  • Cloud automation and Dev Ops work with AWS.
  • Ansible playbook development and automation.
  • Containerization and container orchestration automation.
  • Confluent (Kafka) automation and development.
  • Familiarity with CoPilot to speed up development.
  • Experience using Devin AI tooling for software development.

• Develop and implement continuous improvement solutions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner across the IT enterprise to automate and redesign application, database, and infrastructure processes.
• Support developer needs related to CI/CD, including code repositories, branches, build definitions, and release definitions.
• Drive process re‑engineering to improve efficiency and delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate with teams across the organization.
• Take on additional duties and special projects as needed.
• May support other related departments based on business priorities.
