- Perform a variety of duties in support of end users for IT hardware and/or software.
- Basic technical certification, hardware repair, component level knowledge, operation systems (Windows and application knowledge, troubleshooting techniques)
- Install and configure network devices (i.e. network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.). Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices.
- Perform data termination/activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops).
- Assist in the relocation of customer employees on the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in new location).
- Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)
- Set up and configure PCs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience doing data migrations, imaging, refreshes.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in basic technical hardware repair, component level knowledge, operating system (Windows) and application knowledge, troubleshooting techniques.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in setup and configuring PCs (creating local accounts and acquiring static IPs on customer's intranet and networks).
Qualifications:
- Install and configure network devices (i.e. network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.). Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops).
- Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
- Assist in the relocation of customer employees on the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in new location). Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)
- Assist with imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment.
Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
Possible lifting may be required up to 50 lbs.
Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
