In-House Litigation Attorney

Poly-America, L.P., a leading manufacturer of polyethylene products, is currently seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our legal team in Grand Prairie, Texas. As part of a group of privately‑held companies, Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products, including high quality trash bags, construction films, and agriculture products. Poly-America is also the most technologically advanced and largest recycler and compo under of polyethylene in the world.

• Handle all aspects of civil litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, hearings, and trials
• Evaluate and negotiate case settlements
• Manage any state and federal appeals
• Provide legal counsel on regulatory, corporate, and other legal issues raised by business leaders

• A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• An active Texas Bar License
• At least five years of civil litigation and trial experience
• The ability to travel occasionally to moderately

• Personal injury prosecution and/or defense
• Truck wreck prosecution and/or defense
• Safety and/or environmental regulations and compliance
• General corporate law
