Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Type of Role: Direct Hire

Pay Range: up to $90,000/yr

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end‑to‑end supply chain operations within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted production through effective planning, sourcing, inventory management, and logistics execution. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and suppliers to drive efficiency, cost control, and on‑time delivery while meeting stringent automotive customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Manage and optimize end‑to‑end supply chain activities including planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with production schedules, customer demand, and business objectives
  • Lead S&OP / production planning efforts to balance demand, capacity, and inventory levels
  • Oversee supplier selection, contract negotiation, performance management, and risk mitigation
  • Monitor and manage key supply chain KPIs including OTD, inventory turns, shortages, premium freight, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing and quality teams to support launches, APQP activities, and change management
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949
    , customer‑specific requirements, and internal procedures as they relate to supply chain activities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on lead‑time reduction, cost optimization, and inventory accuracy
  • Manage logistics providers, freight strategies, and import/export activities as required
  • Utilize ERP and planning systems to ensure accurate forecasting, material availability, and reporting
  • Develop, mentor, and lead supply chain team members
  • Support internal and external audits related to supply chain and materials management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of supply chain experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of production planning, materials management, procurement, and logistics
  • Experience supporting automotive customers and working within IATF 16949 environments
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to commute to the Grand Prairie, TX location
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with OEM or Tier 1 automotive suppliers
  • Knowledge of APQP and launch support from a supply chain perspective
  • Experience leading teams and managing suppliers globally
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or CPIM certification a plus
