OpportunityWe are looking for a Shipping Supervisor for the 2nd Shift. This position will be based at our Grand Prairie facility.
Responsibilities- Primary responsibilities include receiving, storage, inventory management, and delivery to customers.
- Work closely with manufacturing, purchasing, and planning to support production while leading a team of 5-10 members.
- Interact daily with manufacturing lines, project managers, and carriers to accommodate LTL and FTL requirements.
- Ensure safe and effective processing of customer orders for large high‑value equipment with contracted carriers.
- Schedule the team and assign daily tasks.
- Execute SAP‑WM transactions for daily shipping and material movement operations.
- Manage shipping functions, yard management, and dock operations.
- 3+ years of experience in distribution, outbound shipping, or transportation management.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven leadership skills in warehouse and logistics operations with the ability to work with all organizational levels.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsor.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain management.
- Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, or Continuous Improvement skills (APICS/CPM accreditation).
- Experience with SAP.
- Advanced Excel expertise.
